The "Danmark", is a 253’ full-rigged ship with a compliment of 19 crew and 80 cadets, from Denmark, built in 1932 in Lolland, Denmark. She served throughout World War II as a training ship for cadets of the U.S.Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. When the war ended in 1945 she returned to Copenhagen. She has been training merchant service officers since she was launched in 1932. " Sail Boston 92" Series.
